"Cinquième soleil" / "Fifth sun"
 
The Fifth Sun, in Mesoamerican mythology, refers to the one under which men currently live. Therefore, this implied that before its creation there were previously four suns, which represented different stages or failed eras. These were characterized by a special Sun and a particular humanity, which ended with a different type of catastrophe.
 
After the devastation of that last sun, the gods gathered in Teotihuacan (“Place of the Gods” or “Place where Gods are made”) to create the Fifth Sun, which would be called Nahui Ollin.
